Burton is a licensed property/casualty producer with Commercial Insurance. While he initially began his career as a summer intern with the firm during his college years, it wasn’t until after graduating from West Virginia University with a BSBA degree that he decided to pursue a career in loss control and risk management. Burton determined that he wanted to pursue marketing and became a sales executive as part of the firm’s general commercial and public sector divisions. He obtained the CLCS designation from the Hartford Insurance school, and to date has completed two-thirds of the CIC Credentialing process. He recently earned the position of assistant vice president in these divisions.
