Chairman and chief executive officer of Commercial Insurance, Frank Baer III, is a licensed property/casualty and life/health agent. Baer joined Commercial Insurance in 1989 after practicing employment law in Denver, Colorado, and is now a producer of large lines of insurance for the firm. Still licensed to practice law in both Colorado and West Virginia, Baer holds a CIC designation in insurance. Baer is a graduate of the Hartford School of Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut, where he received underwriting training.
Baer has served, and continues to serve, on many boards and is committed to such organizations as the Boy Scouts of America and the Charleston Area Medical Center Foundation. He is passionate about the Young Presidents’ Organization in West Virginia and elsewhere around the world, where he has served on several committees. Baer’s activity in Assurex and Intersure has brought outside resources and new ideas to the firm, much of which has been used to assist Commercial Insurance in bringing additional value to its customers.
Personally, Baer is an avid skier and world traveler. He, his wife, and three children are actively involved in many activities in their hometown of Charleston, as well as in the surrounding regions of West Virginia.

As the president and chief operations officer of Commercial Insurance, Raye M. King concentrates on sales development and leadership, client services, and the recruitment, hiring, and training of agency personnel. Prior to her current position and after completing her education in California, King dedicated nearly a decade of her professional career to two major insurance companies as a commercial underwriter and field representative.
Today, King specializes in the cultivation and placement of national franchise accounts, marketing the WVML Insurance Program, overseeing the agency’s strategic alliances, and maintaining long-term relationships with clients. Coupled with being a license West Virginia agent, King is an accredited advisor of insurance.
She previously held the position of chairperson of the education arm for the State of West Virginia Professional Agents association. During that tenure, King was named “Young Agent of the Year” and “Chairman of the Year” by the WVPIIA-WV. Much of her time away from insurance is spent on various foundations which she actively supports by raising money and awareness.
King’s greatest passion is for her family, all of whom are now located back in their beloved state of West Virginia.

Paul S. White serves Commercial Insurance as the executive vice president, benefits division. As a large group consultant, White applies 15 years of insurance experience to assist and advise a list of clients that include city governments, medical centers, trade associations, auto dealerships, and technical service firms.
White is the past president of the Charleston Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (CAIFA), the past committee chair of the Association of Health Insurance Agents (AHIA), the immediate past program chair for the National Intersure Employee Benefits Conference, and he serves as faculty-staff of the National Alliance (Employee Benefits Designation).
White is actively involved with Rotary International, the Charleston Area Medical Center Foundation, community service committees within the insurance industry, and he serves the United Way as a member of its board of directors and chair of the allocations committee. White has earned credentials of NADA Series 6/63, and he is a candidate for the certified insurance counselor designation in the areas of life/health and property/casualty.
Outside of the insurance industry, Paul is a 2009 candidate for the University of Charleston MBA program. He enjoys his family, golf, snow skiing and WVU football.

Christian is a licensed life/health agent utilizing nine years of experience in the benefits division of Commercial Insurance. Currently, Christian is the director and senior vice president of that division.
Aside from his career with Commercial Insurance, Christian is extremely active in the local community. He has served as president of the Charleston Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, chairman of the WVU Classic, and he is currently on the boards of the American Heart Association Walk, Friends of The Clay Center, and Berry Hills Country Club.
Christian holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Virginia University. Christian is an avid golfer and is married to his college sweetheart.
