Commercial Insurance's Health Care Division has grown over the last several years to be one of our agency's largest specialty divisions. Six individuals currently work within this division who specialize in insurance and risk management solutions for health care entities and individual health care professionals. We currently insure over 25 West Virginia health care entities from the state's largest integrated health care delivery system, CAMC, inc., all the way down to some of the state's smallest, rural health care clinics. In addition to hospitals and clinics, we work extensively with laboratories, home health services, independent practice associations (IPA's), mental health facilities and other related health care industries.

We also insure individual physicians, physician practices and larger corporate medical group practices. Currently, we insure over 400 West Virginia physicians.

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company

Commercial Insurance is the exclusive West Virginia insurance agent for Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, the largest insurance company in the world focusing exclusively on providing insurance products and services to jewelers throughout the country. All coverages are considered for this program including both property and casualty and employee benefit products.

Preferred Dealer Protection

Our Automotive Services Division provides insurance coverage, risk management solutions and legal consulting services to West Virginia auto dealers and related industries. Currently, Commercial Insurance is the West Virginia property casualty agent for the Preferred Dealer Protection (PDP) garage insurance program. We provide both property and casualty and employee benefits consulting services for large and small new car automobile franchise dealerships, used car dealerships and related service industries.

Municipalities

For many years, Commercial Insurance has specialized in providing property and casualty insurance services for West Virginia municipalities including cities, towns, counties, public service districts or any other governmental organization. We are the West Virginia Municipal League's (WVML) exclusively endorsed insurance agent for property and casualty insurance services for its 250 municipal insurance members in West Virginia. We are also the endorsed insurance agent for the West Virginia Association of Counties dental and vision program. We also have a workers' compensation unit that specializes in public sector accounts.
